To promote the teaching and appreciation of Brazilian percussion as a tool for cultural and musical expression, offering an inclusive, creative, and excellent environment for all levels of education. To awaken conscious and creative feelings that motivate people to work in groups and connect with Brazilian percussion and its rhythms.

Creator and Instructor

PAULINHO PIRES
Multi-instrumentalist musician, music educator, and business administrator specializing in cultural management.
Since 1997, Paulinho Pires (stage name) has been active as a percussionist in the São Paulo music scene. For 13 years he has been the drum master for carnival groups in the city of São Paulo and has participated four times in the Anhembi Sambadrome as a percussionist for samba schools in the special group. Currently, he is a percussionist for the União Imperial de Santos/SP samba school's drum section and drum master for the Bloco da Cantareira (São Paulo/SP).




With his percussion, he has performed with: Geovana, MV Bill, Carica Sensação, Neguinho da Beija Flor, Zé Katimba, Wanderlei Monteiro, Bernadete, Nei Silva, Thobias da Vai-Vai, Wander Pires, Chapinha da Vela, Luizinho 7 Cordas, Quinho do Salgueiro, Sombrinha, Simoninha, among others.

In 2016 , after almost 20 years of experience with percussion, she began teaching private lessons and percussion workshops with the intention of sharing her experience and knowledge of Brazilian rhythms and their different expressions.
Since then, he has conducted several Brazilian percussion workshops in groups and given private lessons. In 2024, she taught a weekly Percussion Workshop for students aged 5 to 10 at the Companhia School in Santos.
In 2025, he developed the Collective Percussion Method with the goal of expanding access to Brazilian percussion education for interested individuals anywhere in the world , and in 2026 he began the activities of the Collective Percussion.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-SP, a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management from SENAC , and is currently pursuing a degree in Music Education . In parallel, he has completed several extension courses, including Leadership Training from Hay Group. and Project Management from FGV-SP.




During 20 years in the corporate world, worked in the area of Financial/Strategic Control and Planning for companies in the Education, Metals and Sanitary Ware, Food, Diagnostic Medicine, Culture, Credit Card Management, and Banking sectors.
